Major research work financed by the Ministry of Science, the Federal Chancellery and the National Bank on women's literature since the 18th century, on the role of women and girls in Austrian school reading books, on female reading behavior since the founding of the Republic, on the public health policy of Red Vienna, on social democratic weeklies in 1918 - 1934 with reference to women and about the representation of the need for academics in the print media of the Second Republic.

Numerous publications and lectures in the field of women and gender research, co-edited the first Austrian anthology on the history of women's literature since the Middle Ages

Studies on psychological-psycho-oncological use in general hospitals, on gambling addiction and sexual masochism, on burnout and exhaustion, as well as some unpublished case studies from psychoanalytic practice

Lectures at congresses in Munich, Florence, Shanghai, Moscow, Chennai and Helsinki.

Since my academic retirement, I have continued to attend international congresses and conferences with my own contributions.

Lived with and married the Portuguese philosopher, poet and Wittgenstein translator M.S. Lourenco (1936 - 2009)

Together we had a daughter Leonora Lourenco, medical student (1981 - 2001).
